Seeley Swan Valley

Seeley Swan
Valley

The Seeley Swan Valley is lovely valley nestled between the Swan Mountains to the east and the Mission Mountains to the west.

The Seeley Swan Valley is a prime launching point for outdoor recreation year-round with water activities, hiking and biking taking center stage in the summer months. In the winter months, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing are king. The valley is home to the famed Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex which covers over 1.5 million acres.

The Resort at Paws Up

Driving along Highway 200 on your way to the Seeley Swan Valley, it will be hard to miss all of the signs for the Resort at Paws Up. Stop and stay a night, arrange a guided activity or stop by the spa.

Salmon Lake

As you continue on Highway 200 you turn off to start heading north at Clearwater Junction. It is hard to miss the turn off as it is marked by Stoney's Kwik Stop and a large cow statue. Heading north, Salmon Lake is the first lake you hit in the Seeley-Swan Valley.

Seeley Lake

Once you hit Seeley Lake, stop in at The Ice Cream Place for a delicious ice cream cone and burger to keep you fueled up. Enjoy birding, wildlife viewing, fishing, camping, boating, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding and more all near the lake.
