Montana Natural History Center

The Montana Natural History Center has great displays on local and regional flora and fauna, ecosystems, and geology--including Glacial Lake Missoula--as well as a Kids' Discovery Room, art gallery, environmental education library, and Nature Adventure Garden for outdoor play. MNHC provides Naturalist Field Days and various evening programs for adults, and for kids we have a weekly miniNaturalist preschool program on Thursday mornings, afternoon Kids' Activities on select Saturdays, and week-long summer camps for kids in preschool through 5th grade. MNHC also provides the Field Notes program on Montana Public Radio and publishes Montana Naturalist magazine three times a year. Please visit our website for a complete listing of programs and activities.
