The Water Keepers is a short documentary that tells the story of how tribal scientists from the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes built a groundbreaking water-measurement program on the Flathead Reservation. Their decades of scientific data collection helped secure one of the most significant tribal water rights settlements in U.S. history. The film has been recognized as a finalist at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival.
