Work from the exact drawing and plans to recreate this Frank Lloyd Wright-designed desk lamp. An original of this lamp can be seen at the Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art in Denver, CO, which is the inspiration for this class. In this class, you will learn about Frank Lloyd Wright and why his architectural style is important to modern architectural and furniture design while learning to work from shop drawings to create fine furniture. Precision is key when working on smaller scale projects like this lamp, a skill that will easily scale up to larger furniture.

Skills taught: Shop safety, planing, jointing, joinery, cutting, shaping, lamp component installation, lamp shade construction. This project is suitable for all skill levels. Home ReSource will provide all training and materials needed.
