Summer has officially come to a close, and that means it's time to break out the pumpkin ales and throw on some socks under those Chacos. Fall in Missoula is crisp and bright, calm and cozy, fun and festive—whatever you you make of it! The city erupts into brighter shades of yellow, orange and red every day as leaves change, and pumpkin patches are gearing up for visitors. Local coffee shops have already broken out their autumn specials, and anglers throw on an extra layer before hitting the river. You can hunt for the best fall foliage with a latte in hand, hit some colorful trails on a mountain bike, or even bundle up for an outdoor movie before winter snow sends us back indoors.
